Logan Mann, Pastor-Teacher

I grew up in a Christian home and attended a Christian school through middle school. My father died when I was just 7 years old and I had my faith shaped by men in the church who loved me well. This is the primary influence in my life that God used to call me into ministry.

In 1997 I moved to Portland, OR to attend Multnomah Bible College, now Multnomah University. It was there that I met my bride, Jennifer, and we were married in 1999. After graduating from Multnomah we moved with our 4 kids to Tucson, AZ. While in Tucson we added kiddo #5 to the "Mann Clan." We spent 11 years in Tucson before being called to pastor here at Athena Baptist Church.

I love to read theology and biography with what "extra time" I'm able to find. Camping and spending time in the outdoors is always a family favorite. I love to hunt as well, even though I'm not any good at it. I am grateful to God for allowing me to serve him full time in ministry.

I know that I have done nothing to deserve serving God in this way, but by his grace he has called me to serve him as a shepherd in his church. I am grateful to God first for calling me to Salvation in Christ, secondly for the gift of my family, and thirdly for allowing me to serve him here at Athena Baptist Church.
